Terms of Service

CornerPatch helps users publish and discover local listings and communicate with one another. We do not take orders, hold buyer funds for marketplace goods, possess products, process food, fulfill purchases, or act as the buyer or seller in user-to-user transactions.

Any purchase, sale, trade, pickup, delivery, livestock-share arrangement, or other marketplace transaction is made directly between the users involved. Users decide whether, when, and how to transact.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, post listings, transact, or use private messaging. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for information submitted through your account.

Sellers are solely responsible for determining whether they may lawfully offer an item and for complying with applicable licensing, food-safety, inspection, slaughter, processing, labeling, refrigeration, storage, tax, and sales requirements. Rules vary by product and location.

We do not verify that a seller has every permit, license, inspection, exemption, certification, or processing arrangement that may apply. A listing appearing on the service is not an approval or certification by CornerPatch.

Buyers are responsible for evaluating listings and sellers, asking appropriate questions, inspecting products when practical, following safe food-handling practices, and deciding whether a transaction is appropriate. Use reasonable care when meeting another user and when sharing a private pickup location.

You must provide truthful, non-misleading information and may upload only content you own or have permission to use. You retain ownership of your content while granting CornerPatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service.

We may remove, restrict, preserve, or review content and accounts that violate these Terms, our Seller Rules, safety requirements, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.

CornerPatch may offer optional paid promotional placement for eligible listings. Sponsored placement is an advertising service purchased from CornerPatch; it is not payment for the underlying marketplace item and does not make CornerPatch a party to the buyer-seller transaction.

A 60-day Sponsored purchase renews the promoted listing so that the listing and promotion share the same 60-day end date. Sponsored placement does not guarantee a specific number of impressions, views, inquiries, sales, or a fixed ranking position, and it never overrides search relevance, geographic filters, moderation, or applicable law.

Listings removed because of seller misconduct, prohibited content, safety concerns, or legal requirements may lose Sponsored placement without a refund except where required by law. Platform-side billing or service interruptions may be handled under the refund policy communicated at checkout or by support.

Seller-supplied statements about growing practices, inspection, permits, certifications, production methods, or similar attributes are the seller's statements unless the service expressly states that a particular fact has been independently verified. “Seller reports: No pesticides used” is not an organic certification or platform guarantee.

Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful goods, unsafe or recalled products, intellectual-property infringement, scraping that disrupts the service, unauthorized access, impersonation, or conduct that creates a material safety risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, sellers or buyers will perform, products are safe or lawful, Sponsored placement will produce any particular result, messages will receive a response, or the service will be uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CornerPatch and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from user listings, products, transactions, meetings, messages, advertising performance, or third-party conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new version/effective date and, when appropriate, renewed acceptance. Questions, billing issues, or legal notices may be submitted through the Contact page.
